A Penguin storybox sculpture, containing two vintage painted metal (possibly lead) penguin figures, circa 1930’s. They are standing on a piece of ice, which is actually Devon sea glass. The inside of the lid is a vintage piece of quilt, which is I hand-embroider with snowflakes. The words are sculpted from wire, and also typed on to fabric. It is all set within a small square vintage hinged tin from the 1920’s/30’s.
The tins vary slightly, but the smallest it would be is 6.5cm square when closed, but most are larger.
